Easy way to cook Serbian Karadjordje Steak

  1. Place Chicken slices between plastic wrap and gently flatten with a mallet until about 0.5cm thick.
  2. Mix cheeses in a bowl and season with garlic paste, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Divide cheese mixture into portions matching Chicken  slices, shaping into logs or patties for easier stuffing.
  4. When you put cheese between two Chicken slices, it is necessary to roll it up, in order to get that oblong shape.
  5. In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs with beaten eggs. Dredge each flattened Chicken slice in the mixture, ensuring thorough coating.
  6. Pour oil into a deep pan, heating to 180°C.
  7. Carefully place Chicken slices into hot oil, frying for 5-7 minutes per side until golden and crispy. Remove from pan and drain on paper towels.
  8. Let the steak rest for 2-3 minutes before slicing. Serve with tartar sauce and lemon wedges.
