Easy way to cook Egg benedict

  1. Toast the English muffins until golden brown. Rub the surface with butter or brush lightly with melted butter.
    Set aside.
  2. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt 10g of butter. Whisk in 30ml of milk and 10ml of white vinegar.
Season with ½ teaspoon salt and black pepper.
  3. Reduce the heat to low, stirring constantly until the hollandaise thickens slightly (about 5 minutes). Remove from heat and stir in 50g of cheddar cheese until melted and smooth. Set aside.
  4. In a shallow pan over medium-low heat, add 10ml of white vinegar. Crack an egg into a small bowl. Once the
vinegar starts to bubble, gently pour the egg into the pan.
  5. Cook for 3–4 minutes for a poached egg (the white
should be set but the yolk still runny). Repeat with the remaining eggs.
  6. Lightly toast the English muffins and spread with melted butter.
  7. In a small saucepan, make the hollandaise sauce by whisking together butter, milk, vinegar, salt, pepper, and
cheese until smooth and slightly thickened.
  8. Poach the eggs in vinegar for 3–4 minutes until set but not overcooked.
  9. Place a toasted English muffin on a plate, top with a poached egg, and generously spoon hollandaise sauce over the top. Garnish with chives or pepper.

  3. Add a drizzle of truffle oil to the hollandaise sauce for a luxurious touch.
  4. Consider adding a side of ham or extra cheese for a heartier meal.

  2. Garnish with chopped chives, a sprinkle of pepper, or a few microgreens.
  3. Pair with a fresh cup of coffee or a mimosa for the ultimate brunch experience.
  4. For a more adventurous twist, serve with a side of Bloody Mary or spicy tomato juice.
